Let's Play | Killzone 3

People who think introducing input delay on actions makes things more realistic should be castrated with a cactus.

Ps3 - FPS, 1280x720, 30FPS

Seg 1 encoded at 2013-09-06 11:25:19

  • I previously recorded this around the Viking era, but like viking this recording had serious desync issues. Therefore, I opted to re-record Killzone 3 at a later time. This is the re-cast, and it is played in the Elite difficulty, which is unlocked from my previous playthrough.
  • To try to preserve visual fidelity, I am using a new set of encode settings to try to squeeze out as much visuals as possible while keeping the size maintainable. If you'd like me to raise the quality/size more, let me know.

The jet engine sound is one of my fans trying to keep me alive in the ludicrous heat.

By the second half of this segment I am really tired even if I don't sound it (though I definitely play like it). The lense flares and everything just aggravate that.

I was unable to get the super short epilogue cinematic to play. If you want, you can youtube it (I couldn't find a video of just it, either), but it isn't really too big of a deal except

it shows that at least some Helghast survived the aids and possibly Stallman as well. Incidentally, I expect Killzone 4 to deal with the "living" radiation and Rico's interaction with it/the dialogue in the bioscanner. Or retcon it all.
